From mathematics and physics
to UX design.
I still ask the same question,
how can complex things become clearer?
About
Hi, I’m Satomi, a designer based in Toronto and originally from Yokohama, Japan.
I studied physics and mathematics, searching for patterns, logic, and hidden structures. During university, one of my professors said, “Some of the most beautiful designs are built on mathematical principles.” That idea changed the way I saw design.
To me, design is not only about how something looks, but how clearly it works. As a UX/UI designer, I use my scientific background to make complex technology feel clear, thoughtful, and human.
